New Salps

Each feed of Salps contains an orange numerical indicator in the channel name of how many new (unread) Salps are in the feed. Each new Salp is shown with an orange dot:

New Salps appear at the top of the feed.

New Salps that have been visible in the scrollable window are marked as read for any of these conditions;

  • After you click away from their channel
  • Close the Salpulse browser tab (or window)
  • Open another Salpulse browser tab (or window) 20 seconds or more after viewing their channel

The Way channel's indicator sums up the number of new Salps for each of the Value channels:

To avoid cluttering up the feeds of new Salps, if you don't regularly check them, Salps older than 1 month are automatically marked as read - except for the most recent 5 new Salps per channel.

Marking All Salps in a Channel as Read

To mark all Salps in a channel as read right click the orange numerical badge and select Mark all read:

For the Way channel, selecting Mark all read on the Way menu item clears all the Way channels. Selecting Mark all read on one of the Way channel tabs, clears only that channel.
